Photography Fun

Photography:

Photography is an amazing skill to have. If one knows the art of taking pictures, one can surely transform the ugliest of places into alluring scenes through his skill. Through photography, we can preserve our enjoyable moments and view them while taking a trip down the memory lane. There are a lot of different and unique ways to take a photograph but I think these ways should not be followed religiously because the ultimate goal of photography is to convey your message through your picture.

Below are some of my pictures with an interesting context;

"Picture of something blue using rule of thirds"

“No water, no life. No blue, no green.” – Sylvia Earle

The above picture shows a blue ball in some sort of space or vacuum. I have added this picture because it reminds me of a funny incident that took place during my childhood. I was playing cricket with my brothers. My brother was the bowler and I was the batsman. When the ball approached me, I swung my bat and hit the ball with full force. But the ball struck a post and got stuck. My little brother, who was bowling at the time, didn't see this. So when he asked me where the ball went, I told him that the ball has reached outer space and now it is orbiting the earth...๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜†

This picture is of Papa Smurf and a cute panda. I have taken a picture of Papa Smurf because most of the Smurfs have an average age of about 100 years but Papa Smurf is the oldest of all the Smurfs and is over 546 years old. For his advance age of 546 years, he is quite energetic. He is a gentle, humble and knowledgeable village elder. As the Smurfs' leader, Papa Smurf is a central fatherlike figure that the Smurfs typically go to when seeking counsel. Due to his fatherly nature, Papa Smurf is always concerned about the Smurfs’ welfare and harmony. He is very altruistic and is always available to help anybody, whether Smurf or human. His great diplomatic skills are used when encountering humans or other creatures in the forest. The panda is also there because why not??๐Ÿ˜Ž

"Pictures of something yellow using rule of thirds"

“There is no blue without yellow and without orange.” – Vincent Van Gogh

This here is a picture of a unique and interesting lantern that came across my eyes when visiting a mall with my friends. There were tons of these lanterns and it made me feel like I was in some kind of a Shaolin temple or a Chinese fortress. The feeling was absolutely magical ๐Ÿ’–.

This here is a picture of a beautiful sunset at the one and only Murree hill station. The whole mountain was surrounded by clouds. I was literally blinded by the clouds. But through these clouds, I saw a beam of light and I chased that beam. Finally, after chasing it for 5 minutes or so, it led me to this beautiful sunset and I was fortunate enough to capture this majestic view and share it with you all.

"Pictures of things using fill the frame"

Alright, you might be wondering why this guy took the picture of a common house fly๐Ÿ˜? Well, the answer is very straight forward because this was the first photo that I took when I bought my android phone 3 years back. You know the feeling when you buy a smartphone and you go on trying out the camera on your new phone thinking that you are the best photographer in the world. Overwhelmed by this joyful feeling, I took pictures of anything that I laid my eyes on. Well, I noticed this fly and took a closeup shot of it and who knew that one day it would make into this blog๐Ÿ˜‚.

This is a picture of a yellow rose that I took on a casual stroll in the park. I was fascinated to see a yellow rose at that time because I had never seen one in my entire life. This picture always reminds me of how beautiful and diverse nature is.

" Interesting photo of a building from down low"

This here is a picture of a building that is gonna open soon in my home-town Gujranwala. I took this picture because it sort of looks like a mixture of a clock tower and white house combined. I am still waiting for its opening ceremony. Hopefully, it opens before the final exams ๐Ÿ‘€.

This here is another picture of a building in Gujranwala. It is quite old. It is a pre-partition building. I think it was inhabited by the Sikhs or Hindus before partition. But now it is inhabited by famous tailors in our city and that's where it gets its famous name of  "Darzion Wali Kothi".

"Photo of something using leading lines "

This is a random picture that I took while visiting a place called "Fun Dunya" in my city. It is quite an interesting place. It is like a theme park having tones of rides, rollercoasters, racing cars and much more. It is a good place to opt for when you visit Gujranwala.

"Another photo using leading lines"

This picture is of MRC at NUST. This picture has a lot of significance for a mechanical engineer. This is where we would like to spend most of our time. There is a unique magic in this place that only mechanical engineers can feel and relate with me. I had only seen this place in vlogs on youtube but now I am fortunate enough to be working in this place. Alhamdulillah.

"Vertical portrait of my friend"

“A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.” ― Elbert Hubbard

This here is a picture of my friend "Sameer". He has been my friend since the sixth grade. We basically grew up together. We are like brothers. He is an expert when it comes to photography. He enjoys capturing majestic views through his camera lens. He is currently studying at PIEAS. May Allah bless him with success in all fields of life Ameen!.

"Horizontal portrait of my teachers"

"Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach him how to fish he eats for an eternity"

This picture is very close to my heart. It includes four of my great college teachers. It is their teaching that made me a better person. I learnt a lot from these great personalities. My teachers are an embodiment of humility, gratitude and discipline. I am very thankful to Allah almighty that I got to learn from these brilliant teachers.

"A picture of my class fellow"

This is the photo my college fellow and now university class fellow, "Islam Nawaz". He is studying "Mechanical Engineering" with me. He is a very sincere guy and a very down to earth person. He helps me a lot. I  have known him for 3 years now. He is truly a great person. May Allah bless him with success in every field of life.

"Creative photos of myself ๐Ÿ‘‡"

Here's a photo of me standing near a giant T-rex. Well, I am the first person in the world who has taken a picture with an alive T-rex. I am kind of a daredevil because "Dew na kiya to phir kya jiya." Maybe I am a time traveller. Who knows๐Ÿ˜‰.

Now we come to the last picture of my assignment. This picture shows my love for the noble sport of boxing.  I first came to know about boxing when I was 12 years old and since then I fell in love with the sport. Also, I am from the city of wrestlers (what a coincidence๐Ÿ˜…). "Muhammed Ali" and "Mike Tyson" are my boxing ideals. I still try to practice boxing here and there. Hopefully, I can continue the legacy of "The great Muhammed Ali."

"Some interesting random clicks"

"Child in a pot"

This picture reminds me of the time I had a baby for breakfast, just kidding I enjoy taking these weird kind of pics๐Ÿ˜‡.

"Guardians of Gujranwala"

As I have mentioned before that I belong to Gujranwala (The city of wrestlers) so this picture is a hallmark of my city. This picture shows the culture of Gujranwala. These two wrestlers stand at the border of Gujranwala waiting for Olympics 2021 ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

"I ๐Ÿ’– Gujranwala"

This is picture shows the love of residents of Gujranwala for their city. Grilled cuisines of my city attract food lovers countrywide. The phrase "I ๐Ÿ’– Gujranwala" was coined by the food enamoured visitors. If you are a maiden visitor of this city don't forget to enjoy the unique speciality of Gujranwala.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!!!
